The MSVLF Series represents the next generation of AC withstand voltage testing. Utilizing the latest 0.1Hz ultra-low frequency (VLF) technology recommended by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), this tester provides a lighter, safer, and more efficient alternative to traditional power frequency and DC tests. The MSVLF overcomes the limitations of traditional withstand voltage testers. Compared to standard power frequency testing, the 0.1Hz frequency reduces the required power supply capacity to approximately one-fifth, significantly reducing the equipment’s size and weight. Unlike DC withstand voltage tests, which can damage insulation, the VLF AC test provides a true AC stress equivalent to power frequency testing without the destructive side effects.
